ABOUT
Born in Ohio in 1975, Clay Elliott has been creating art for most of his life. Clay’s early experiments in abstract expressionism and life drawing helped in creating an aesthetic that combines both genres. Now living and working in Arizona, Clay’s newest work explores the “gray area” that exists in between photo realism and complete abstraction. His subjects are deconstructed to their most elemental shapes, and then put back together again like surrealist pop art jigsaw puzzles.
In addition to creating original exhibitions, Clay is passionate about creating unique and one-of-a-kind artwork for clients. In fact, approximately 30 percent of his artwork in the last decade have been commissioned art pieces. While Clay has his own style, he is adept at listening to clients and adjusting to meet their specific wants. Clay is a skilled communicator and makes the commission process simple for the buyer.
